Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary

70kms from Dharwad, you have Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary where one can enjoy adventure sports like white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking on the River Kali. Go trekking, mountain biking and cycling. One can also take nature walks, do bird watching, crocodile spotting and angling. It's a perfect mix of nature and adventure in a nice blend.

Anshi National Park

120kms from Dharwad, Anshi National Park is located in a pristine part of the Western Ghats and is known for the richness of its flora and fauna. A treat for bird watchers, it has around 197 rare species of birds. It is also the only park in Asia, where the black panther is a natural inhabitant. Also it is home to elephants, tigers, deer, wild boar and a variety of reptiles.
