Unnati Silks and Madhubani Prints

Unnati Silks has indulged in Madhubani Prints for two reasons. One the prints experimented on different fabrics have provided sensational outcomes and secondly the prints being replicated from original Madhubani paintings, the fascination for these sarees in the market is many fold.

There is a new range of pure Mulberry silks and Bengal silks that have the Madhubani magic re-created on them. Madhubani Paintings have been reproduced in finely carved out wooden blocks and using fast dyes the Madhubani Art has now been reproduced on sarees as Madhubani prints. Sharp fine detailing combined with the judicious use of colors and themes from the Ramayana especially about the marriage of Goddess Sita and Lord Rama have created sensations on the fine silk weaves.

You also have the Madhubani paintings as prints on the Bengal Organza silk sarees with elegant pallus and eye-catching zari borders, on the pure jute cottons with imagery on pallu combined with floral abstract. Then you have the Tussar silk Madhubani with sensational Matsya and Peacocks with floral designs interspersed on the pallu, the plain Madhubani sarees  with pallu and border magic in Rajkot cotton sarees, and of course the lassy hand painted Madhubani sarees in pure Tussar Ghicha silks and Rajkot cotton.
