• Being an educational place, prominent institutions can be visited like the Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalur College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, TNB Law College and homeopathic colleges. The Bihar Agricultural University came up in 2010.
