Garadia Mahadev Temple

This temple lies on the Kota- Chittorgarh route on NH-76 just 10 Km. away. It is best to vist the place in July-September just after the monsoon when nature is blooming. It is a good spot for visitors to picnic. A series of steps takes one to the Shiva temple and the waterfall is very close to the Shiv Linga. The best part from the top of the hill is the scenic view of the Chambal river meandering below. It is better to finish the visit before sunset and return.

Jagmandir Palace

There are Replicas of the Seven Wonders on the southern side that are a lovely sight, well-maintained. One can enjoy the evening there especially when it's illuminated. There is also a short timed musical fountain from the opposite bank. The palace is in the heart of the city and in between the lake. It is very beautiful and you have a laser and fountain show in evening. Adjacent to the lake is the Chatra Vilas Garden,where one can have a fun ride in the Joy Train. Nearby is also the Government Museum where one gets to see a good collection of historical antiques and statuettes.

Kishore Sagar

This is a man-made lake which is decently maintained. There is a platform made around it offering a 3-4 km walk and there are many other famous places around it like chatra vilas park and seven wonder park offering a perfect evening. This lake is the most visited spot in Kota. The lake is beautiful with all the lighting and there are replicas of sever wonders of the world which makes it an amazing sight. Kishore Sagar is best place to visit in Kota. You can see Jag Mandir palace in the centre of lake on Seven Wonders Park on the bank of river.

Chambal Gardens

A local gardenand a good picnic spot. Good for family outing once in a while. You can take your food packed and have an outing of fun and dining. Chambal Garden got his name as it is situated near Chambal River.It is one of the oldest Gardens, very large in area.As it is located near River Chambal, you can also go for boating.

Godavari Dham Temple

Godaveri Dham Temple is a very old temple of Lord Hanuman, situated on the banks of the Chambal river. The atmosphere there is peaceful and soothing. There are small temples of Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, Lord Bhairava. People feed the cows and buffaloes there with grass available for a small price, over there. Every Tuesday there are Bhajans and read-outs from the ‘Sunderkhand Path’ of the Ramayan.
