There is a brilliant collection of Mangalagiri line of fabrics at Unnati Silks. Sarees, Salwar Kameez, kurtis, kurtas and dupattas that bear a new look, provide a fresh feel.

SareesMangalagiri sarees are known for their eye-catching variety. You have mirror badla work evenly distributed over the field, you have elegant borders to match the tone. There are patterns of color stripes, large color bands, with lovely plain colored borders to match. Lovely patli pallu sarees in half half, with wide borders decorated with floral scapes. Ganga Jamuna border sarees with the typical but still popular temple border lined across the length, sarees with abstract art, floral, thematic  hand paintings . There are prints, patterned shapes, lovely zari borders, designer pallus with zari or multicolor linings. There are bright hued sarees with light and dark self color bands, striped pallus that set off a style. There are the dark colored ones with wide golden zari borders and an additional temple pattern inner border that gives it lots of appeal. There are innovative prints, there are unique patterns, there are floral motifs, there are abstract shaped designer motifs – a whole lot of innovative and revolutionary facelifts to the ordinary plain background.

Salwar Kameez – beautiful combinations of the three piece salwar suit, where the salwar could be plain, the kameez with small figurines at the bottom, the dupatta, a lovely match for the salwar kameez pair.

Dupattas – Pastel colors plain and with zari borders, tasseled ends. Self color weaves with dark and light portions, a lovely hint of color play. The plain and simple dark versions with the light golden borders, the light colored ones with the light colored checks pattern slightly darker and the zari borders at the ends, the light mid portion with dark portions either side with tasseled ends.

Kurtis & Kurtas - The traditional Bagru and Dabu block prints in vibrant colours and double shades on the fine count kurtis and kurtas come out as modern, stylish and fashionable products. Colours that combine well, prints that are sharp and detailed, fine and exquisite, Mangalagiri cottons have the the traditional touch but the trendy taste. Bagru and Dabu block prints come out fine on the good count weaves of the Mangalagiri handloom cotton kurtas and kurtis, the distributed motifs on vibrant coloured plain kurtas and kurtis, designer end portions and coloured borders give these fabrics a fashionable look. More stunning are flowery embroidery in sections, with classic patterned borders, geometrical shapes in fancy designs in the choicest of colours. Mangalagiri cotton tunics and tops are engagingly different – charming,sophisticated,yet so very traditional.
