KBR National Park

KBR National Park is a forest maintained by the Forest Dept. There are a variety of birds, butterflies, wild animals (incl. white tiger), peacocks, deer etc. A nice and quiet place within the city with a lot of trails winding through the area and quiet that can be enjoyed away from the bustle of the city.

ISKCON Hyderabad Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Mandir

A neat and calm place like any other ISKCON temple across India. The land is said to be donated by the late Shri Pulla Reddy right across where his first sweet shop lay. The Darshan & Pooja, Bhajans are something to experience here. Serene surroundings with the highlight being the beautiful Lord Krishna's and Radha ji's Shringar or beautification which is the trademark of ISKCON temples, worth the visit. The canteen is so simple and spotlessly clean, reminds of kitchens of yesteryears.

NTR Garden

This garden is a very nice place to spend time in the evenings. Lot of attraction for kids. Nice fountains and garden for relaxing. It is quite a nice place to visit when you have time in hyderabad.

Hussain Sagar Lake

A majestic lake that divides Secunderabad and Hyderabad. There is a huge statue of Gautama Buddha in the middle of the lake. You have amusements and boat rides across the lake to the statue at Lumbini Park. There is also a laser show held every evening. The Lake looks beautiful during night with all the lighting.

Pochampally, in Telangana, India, is well-known for its Pochampally brand of sarees, the base fabric being cotton, silk or a blend of the two. The exquisite finish of the saree comes through the dyeing and weaving of pre-coloured threads which are dyed according to the Ikat or Ikkat technique.
