M Chinnaswamy Stadium
For a cricket crazy country a cricket stadium is almost a place of worship! M . Chinnaswamy Stadium is no exception. Situated at the end of the famous Mahatma Gandhi road it is an imposing stadium; the high floodlights can be spotted from quite a distance. The location of the stadium and surrounding areas is very nice. Attached to the stadium is the KSCA (Karnataka State Cricket Association) club.
Lalbagh Botanical Garden
One of finest gardens in the city and a great place for family fun it also boasts of great seasonal activities like the flower show. This is an excellent place to be if you want to take a feel of old Bangalore city. It is located right at the centre of city. Most of the busy and most happening places are just nearby. With a great collection of flowers and different trees, it is a well maintained place that would do for a daytime tour and one can spend leisurely time with friends or family. The Annual Lalbagh flower show is a must for anyone visiting Bangalore in August. There are a variety of blooms decorated beautifully around the park. Nice place for a family picnic!
ISKCON Bangalore, Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple
If one is searching for a serene and calm place to be with the great almighty, this is the place for you. It’s a great place situated in the middle of the city yet where you feel at peace. Recommended to go during weekdays when the crowd is very less. The temple structure is marvellous and many foreigners can also be seen as part of the crowd of devotees. The Aarti is quite absorbing. The Lord Krishna Temple is on a hill top.
